Our working philosophy is based on a thorough understanding of our client, so that every project you entrust to us faithfully reflects the values and personality of your company.
Why is it important to project the personality of your company through each translation?
The leading companies in each sector invest hugely in protecting their image, stamping rigorous textual identity on all their publications, which ranges from a precise use of terminology to their own particular, distinctive way of communicating; in essence, their DNA. Reflecting this DNA through every translation so that a reputable brand is seen as such in another language is essential.
In other words, if the translator does not faithfully pass on the way in which a brand hopes to be perceived internationally, all the investment made by the brand in the creation of content will not have the desired effect in other countries.
In that respect, our experience has shown us that understanding the psychology of the client is just as important as applying the methodological and technical guidelines our profession demands. Undermining a renowned company by associating it with poor or mediocre translation is tantamount to consigning the client’s efforts to the dustbin. If quality is synonymous with profitability, it should be remembered that in professional translation quality is, by and large, ultimately determined by the human factor, in other words, by the intellectual skills of the translator and their ability to speak in the voice of the client.
In a nutshell, we focus our work and experience as a customised service based on mutual trust and a direct, continuous relationship with our client, without the use of third parties, because we believe that is the best way to translate not only your documents, but also your vision.
Planning and execution of projects
Our translation process: linguistic engineering, style management and quality control
The first step in the translation process consists in establishing terminological uniformity to guarantee linguistic coherence throughout the entire project. If the project’s typology requires it, or if you request it, will send you a terminology glossary so that you can confirm its appropriateness for the project or for your company’s own terminology. This glossary involves no extra cost and your company will be able to keep it indefinitely with full right of use.
If your company already has other terminology glossaries and would like to apply them, we will implement them in the translation process.
Once the linguistic profile has been established, the rest of the translation is performed.
Finally, a technical and stylistic quality control check is performed with review by a different linguist. For the technical quality control we use software which statistically analyses the textual corpus. For style management, we use our style guide to ensure a perfect level of legibility, as well as personalization in accordance with the project’s objectives.
Delivery
Once the project has been delivered within the agreed time frame we remain in contact with our client to reply to any questions or provide any further information which the client desires.
