Financial translation

Financial translation can be considered as part of technical translation, given the importance of the terminological homogenization and coherence that it entails. The methodology applied is therefore similar to that of technical translation: terminological analysis, glossary creation, proposal and appropriation by the client of the terminology created, implementation where relevant of the client company’s terminology and final quality control via review by a second linguist.
This discipline is usually related to legal texts or those with a legal nature (annual or quarterly reports, accounting records, tax declarations, audit reports, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, etc.) and require short turnaround times.
