Legal translation often requires very experienced translators. The reason for this is that it is a subject whose most important requirement, together with terminological versatility, is accuracy and prior knowledge. In many pure legal texts, such as those that are emanated from courts, there are often a series of formulas which are used and can be easily misinterpreted by translators lacking the relevant knowledge, therefore giving rise to contradictions, often with transcendent consequences.
In many cases the legal terminology is related to financial and business terminology, as in the case of contracts, statutes and articles of incorporations, company mergers, etc.
The ideal professional profile to deal with this type of projects is a translator who graduated in law and/or with ample experience with legal and business texts, requirements which are accredited both in our in-house team and in our external collaborators.
